OKTOBERFEST REINVITATION
Dear Fearrington Fans of UNC –
We got ‘em!! Yes, we’ve booked The Clef Hangers!
Kudos to Farrel Potts and Pat Rowe for their perseverance and persuasiveness!
Now, Tar Heel voices raised in song should be an incentive for you to sign up for Oktoberfest.
I have to say, however, that the sign-up list is a bit spare. Come on! We need more than the 40 or so who have registered.
If you don’t sign up, please know that we will welcome you at the hosting table without prior registration. As is said in hair salons and athletic teams, “Walk-ins are welcome.”
Cost: a modest $20 per person for full plates of authentic German sausage and trimmings, and your choice of liquids, hard, soft, and in-between.
Date: Friday, September 25.
Time: 4:30 for drinks, reunions, music, raffles, laughter, and fellowship….and dinner at 5:30 p.m.
Place: Swim and Croquet Club.
