Our winter event was catered by Mama Dip’s historical restaurant. The fare included fried chicken, green beans, mac n cheese, and other wonderful Southern dishes. Mama(Mildred Council) Dipp’s daughter Spring Council shared with us about her growing up in Chapel Hill as well as this famous restaurant.
The night also included a raffle to benefit our UNC Scholarship Fund for Chatham County UNC students. There were more book donations in our continuing effort to help our Chatham County children.
