We had a wonderful gathering at our annual Bar B Q spring event. The highlight of the night was our guest speaker, Dr. Jim Leloudis the Associate Dean for Honors Carolina and the Director of the Center for Undergraduate Excellence as well as a Professor of History. He spoke about the “Life and Times of Silent Sam: the Confederate Monument in McCorkle Place”. A great presentation with a lively question and answer time. Thanks again to Dr. Leloudis.
We were treated to a Southern feast including Bar B Q, cole slaw, potato salad, sweet tea, and of course hush puppies. A great evening with our fellow Tar Heels. Hark the Sound!
