We have wrapped up our annual Books on Break Spring Service Project. We had an incredible 81 books donated. This is a fantastic result.This is the second year we have done this virtual project in conjunction with the Chatham Educational Foundation. In just two years, our little club has donated a total of 250 exciting, age appropriate books for summer reading. Reading is very important for vocabulary, for stimulating imagination and critical thinking, and for improving test scores, and 250 kids now have a book to call their own.
So again, thanks to all for making a difference in a young student’s life! And Go Heels!
