Kudos to our club as over 100 pounds of food was donated at our Bar B Q Fling back in April. We will also have another food drive for our Oktoberfest celebration. It is such a worthwhile endeavor. The CORA Executive Director indicated they expect to
provide around 21,000 individual weekly food rations this coming fiscal year. Looking back to the end of 2010 fiscal year 13,726 individual weekly food rations were given out. That represents an over 50% increase in the last 5 year period. So
the need is certainly there and sadly it keeps growing. Lets be generous and really kick it up on September 25.
