For our Fall Service Project, the FVCC once again teamed up with the Chatham Educational Foundation to contribute “Back to School Supplies” for teachers and students in Chatham County. Club members purchased, via a CEF established website, notebooks, backpacks, pens and pencils, paper and all manner of supplies. All purchases were made from a list provided by the CEF after consultation with teachers and administrators. Our club’s contributions were combined with others from throughout Chatham County and distributed through a series of CEF “stuff the backpacks” events. With one more event to go, the CEF has already distributed over 350 backpacks! Many thanks to all club members who contributed!
